Tingog Partylist mobilizes aid for 322 fire-affected families in Parañaque

admin May 22, 2024

FOLLOWING the devastating fire incident in Brgy. Sto Niño, Tingog Partylist, led by Representatives Yedda Romualdez and Jude Acidre, in partnership with Speaker Martin Romualdez, has successfully executed a relief operation to support 322 families who were severely impacted.

This initiative underscores Tingog Partylist’s unwavering commitment to community support and rapid disaster response, aiming to alleviate the hardships faced by the affected residents.

The relief distribution, which took place earlier this week, showcased the power of collective effort and the Filipino spirit of bayanihan. Volunteers, community leaders, and members of Tingog Partylist collaborated to provide essential food packs to those in dire need.

“In these challenging times, it is crucial that we come together to support our brothers and sisters in Brgy. Sto Niño. Our collective action today signifies our solidarity and commitment to helping our community recover,” stated Rep. Yedda Romualdez.

Rep. Jude Acidre also emphasized the importance of the initiative, noting, “These food packs represent a beacon of hope for those affected. It’s our duty to ensure that no one is left behind as we work towards recovery and rebuilding.”

The support of Speaker Martin Romualdez played a pivotal role in the operation’s success, enabling the mobilization of additional resources and support. “It’s through working together like this that we can extend our reach and impact more lives positively,” remarked Speaker Romualdez.

The beneficiaries of the relief operation expressed their deep gratitude for the timely assistance, highlighting how such acts of kindness and solidarity are crucial during times of crisis.

Tingog Partylist extends its heartfelt appreciation to all individuals and groups who contributed to the relief operation’s success, such as Parañaque 1st District Representative, Cong. Edwin Olivarez and the Barangay Captain of Brgy. Sto. Niño, Kap. Johny Co, whose cooperation and assistance allowed for a swift and orderly response. The partylist remains dedicated to leading disaster response efforts and community assistance programs, reaffirming its mission to serve and uplift the lives of the Filipino people.
