PHILIPPINE National Police Chief General Dionardo Carlos commends the Southern Police District- Parañaque City Police Station for the successful arrest of a Malaysian national and his Filipino cohort for Falsification of Public Documents and Usurpation of Authority on February 7, 2022.
The suspects were identified as Owi Jee Hao, 32, Malaysian National and Human Resource Manager at Billions Dragons Company; and Lorenzo Vicedo, 26, Human Resource personnel of the same company.
Records show that the suspects appeared at the Custodial Facility Unit of Parañaque City Police Station.
They disguised as process servers of the Regional Trial Court in Parañaque City and presented a release order for Han Xun, Cen Shalu, and Shen Fa, who are facing charges for kidnapping.
Upon verification with the court, authorities found out that the release order presented to them was fake.
The two suspects were immediately arrested.
“It’s a good thing that we have a way to verify documents. I congratulate our personnel for being alert,” Carlos said as he gave a fair warning to those who will attempt to do the same.
