A PASIG City court has ordered the transfer of detained Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) founder Apollo Quiboloy to a public hospital.
The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) confirmed the order on Friday, stating that it partially grants Quiboloy’s request for hospitalization. Quiboloy, who was recently readmitted to a private hospital for community-acquired pneumonia after experiencing breathing difficulties, is expected to be transferred today.
This follows a previous hospitalization in November at the Philippine Heart Center for an irregular heartbeat. The court order, dated January 23, 2025, from RTC 159, specifies the transfer to a public hospital.
