SENATOR Jinggoy Estrada has requested the Office of the Senate Secretary to investigate reports that a woman named Beng Ramos is falsely representing herself as a member of his staff.
In a letter to Senate Secretary Atty. Renato Bantug Jr., Estrada’s chief of staff, Atty. Racquel Mejia, asserted that Ramos is not authorized to act on the senator’s behalf in any capacity.
Mejia stated that their office has no record of anyone named Beng Ramos, also known as Divina Gracia Ramos, being employed by Senator Estrada since 2004.
They were also informed that Ramos is employed in the Office of the Secretary, specifically under the Blue Ribbon Oversight Office Management.
The investigation aims to determine the extent of Ramos’s alleged misrepresentation and any potential implications for the senator’s office.
