A FORMER Quezon City representative is prepared to provide a comprehensive account of anomalies within flood control projects, according to Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla.
In a press briefing Wednesday, Remulla revealed that he received information via a phone call indicating the former lawmaker’s willingness to offer a “tell-all” testimony. The Ombudsman anticipates the former congressman will detail his involvement and expose how the system of corruption operates, including naming other individuals involved.
While Remulla did not disclose the former representative’s name or district, this development signals a potential breakthrough in the investigation of widespread corruption in flood control projects.
