FATIMA Bosch from Mexico has been crowned Miss Universe 2025, besting 120 other contestants for the coveted title. She was crowned by reigning queen Victoria Theilvig from Denmark.
The Philippine bet, Ahtisa Manalo, finished in the Top 5 as the 3rd runner-up. Thailand’s Praveenar Singh is the first runner-up, while Venezuela’s Vanessa Pulgarin won second runner-up. Côte d’Ivoire’s Olivia Yacé finished as fourth runner-up.
During the question and answer portion, Bosch emphasized using her voice and power to serve others and create change, believing that women are here to speak up and make history. She also encouraged young girls to believe in their authenticity and worth.
Bosch’s victory comes after a controversy that initially mired the pageant. Following a video posted by Miss Universe Thailand, the official social media accounts of Miss Universe Mexico issued a statement saying what happened to Bosch was “unacceptable.”
