ACTOR Baron Geisler (real name Frederick Von Baron) was arrested in Mandaue City, Cebu on Saturday morning for public intoxication. Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) reported that Geisler was apprehended at approximately 3:50 AM in Barangay Canduman following reports of disruptive behavior outside his brother-in-law’s residence.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Mercy Villaro, MCPO’s Public Information Officer, stated that the arrest was made under City Ordinance No. 11-2008-434, addressing public drunkenness or severe intoxication. Geisler was released on Sunday after paying a fine.
In a Facebook post on Monday, Geisler addressed the incident, claiming misinformation and confusion surrounding the event. He criticized news outlets for allegedly failing to verify facts before reporting. He stated, “I want to make it clear—I’m okay, and I’m seeking legal advice to address this properly,” adding, “To those who continue to stand by me, thank you. Your support means everything.”
