THE Department of Finance (DOF) has issued a categorical denial regarding reports of a PHP 28 billion official development assistance (ODA) loan between South Korea and the Philippines, stating that no such loan exists.
The clarification aims to address any confusion or misinformation surrounding the alleged agreement.
Despite the denial, the DOF reaffirmed the Philippine government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in its dealings with bilateral partners.
The department emphasized that the Philippines values the trust and confidence of its international partners and will continue to uphold the highest standards of integrity in all its financial transactions and agreements.
