Bansalan, Davao del Sur – A cement mixer truck accident in Bansalan, Davao del Sur, resulted in the deaths of four people, including three children, on Sunday. The tragic incident occurred in Barangay Managa when the truck reportedly lost its brakes.
According to the driver’s helper, the truck veered left after the brakes failed and hit an uneven patch of ground. The impact killed the truck driver and caused the cement mixer to strike three minors, aged nine, 10, and 12, who were walking by the road.
The helper stated that he had informed the driver about a potential problem with the brakes before they began their trip. Police authorities are currently investigating the incident. Further details were not immediately available.
