LOTTO draws from January 10 to 12 have been suspended by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) following the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
In a statement, PCSO said the suspension was to ensure the health and safety of its employees and the public.
“Ito ay upang maisagawa ang kaukulang hakbangin sa seguridad ng lahat,” PCSO said.
Meanwhile, it said lotto outlets will remain open for those who want to purchase tickets for the digit/jackpot games, keno, and instant sweepstakes.
Small town lotteries will also remain operational in areas authorized by the local government.
