CarBEV founder Christian Bradley leads the charge toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable future in Philippine transport.
CHRISTIAN Bradley, founder and former CEO of Carbnb, has stepped down from his post to lead CarBEV, a new venture focused on building the Philippines’ first large-scale fleet of battery electric vehicles (BEVs). The move marks a defining shift in Bradley’s journey as an entrepreneur, from pioneering shared mobility to

CarBEV’s goal is to deploy a modern fleet of all-electric vehicles to serve leading transport network vehicle service (TNVS) platforms such as Grab, Angkas, and inDrive, helping make sustainable mobility more accessible to Filipino commuters while improving driver welfare and contributing to the country’s decarbonization targets.
Strengthening this vision, CarBEV has also forged an initial partnership with Angcars, a rising player in the local transport sector, to roll out its first 50-unit all-electric fleet by 2025. The partnership marks a crucial step toward demonstrating the viability of large-scale EV adoption in the Philippines and advancing the modernization of the nation’s mobility ecosystem.

To further its mission, CarBEV is set to collaborate with key government agencies to align its initiatives with national priorities. The company plans to work with the Department of Energy (DOE) to
help implement the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA) and support the goal of achieving a 50 percent EV fleet share by 2040. It will also coordinate with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to institutionalize social protection and benefits for TNVS drivers, and with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to promote efficient fleet management that can contribute to easing Metro Manila’s chronic traffic congestion.
The Carbnb board has accepted Bradley’s resignation and confirmed the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, whose name will be announced at a later date. Bradley will remain a major shareholder and strategic advisor to ensure a smooth leadership transition and continued alignment between Carbnb and his new venture, CarBEV.

Describing CarBEV as the culmination of his personal and professional growth, Bradley added, “My journey with Carbnb
has been incredible, but CarBEV is a calling I can no longer ignore. It’s a convergence of my faith, my desire for redemption, and my commitment to using business as a force for good.”
