ARREST warrants have been issued for Cristy Fermin and her co-hosts, Rommel Villamor and Wendell Alvarez, in a libel case brought by actress Bea Alonzo. Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 93 Judge Cherry Chiara Hernando found probable cause, setting bail at P48,000 per defendant in her July 21, 2025 order.
The libel case, filed in May 2024, stems from comments made by Fermin on her online show regarding Alonzo’s broken engagement with actor Dominic Roque.
Fermin’s commentary also allegedly included false claims about Alonzo’s tax obligations and a labor case involving a former driver.
Alonzo’s legal counsel emphasized the actress’s right to pursue legal action against those responsible for spreading damaging information. Fermin maintained that her reports were fair and criticized Alonzo for being overly sensitive.
Alonzo has also filed separate libel cases against Ogie Diaz and an unnamed individual. The issuance of the arrest warrants marks a significant development in the ongoing legal battle.
