Zhangzhou City, Fujian, China- The AFAB delegation opened Tuesday morning with the FAB Business Promotion Conference at the China-Philippines joint demonstration zone for economic innovative development in Zhangzhou City, presenting investment and cooperation opportunities to municipal representatives, council officials, and business leaders.
During their business conference, Administrator and CEO Hussein P. Pangandaman outlined a special cooperation framework between Zhangzhou and the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).
The proposal focuses on agro-industrial development, manufacturing, port development and logistics, consumer goods such as electric vehicles and financial technology as well as other emerging technologies, renewable energy, and tourism. The administrator emphasized the importance of building on each side’s strengths and aligning policies so that cooperation results in pragmatic, workable, and advantageous projects, with support from the Philippine China Economic Cooperation Industrial Park (PCECIP) headed by Ms. Sherryl Luo.
This alignment is crucial for turning shared aspirations into concrete outcomes through sincere and dedicated mutual cooperation.
The conference concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between AFAB and the Zhangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, represented by Director Sun Ke.
