INa heart-wrenching incident at a supermarket in Tabuk City, Kalinga, a single father was caught stealing a box of milk for his child. The suspect, identified only as Mark by authorities, was later released after PLtCol Jack Angog, chief of the Tabuk City Police Station, paid for the 1.7-kilo box of baby milk he had taken.
Mark explained that he had been unemployed since the completion of a construction project, and his wife had left him and their child. Facing dire circumstances and with no means to feed his son, he resorted to stealing the milk.
