Rappler tinuluyan ng SEC

admin June 29, 2022

Rappler chief executive officer Maria Ressa.

“We were notified by our lawyers of this ruling that effectively confirmed the shutdown of Rappler,” ayon pa kay Ressa, kasabay ng pahayag hinggil sa anila’y kanilang ihahaing apela – “especially since the proceedings were highly irregular.”

“Rappler is liable for violating the constitutional and statutory Foreign Equity Restrictions in Mass Media enforceable through rules and laws within the mandate of the Commission.”
