A REMARKABLE 206 senior citizens are among the brave individuals taking on the challenge of the bar exams this year, demonstrating that age is no barrier to pursuing one’s dreams.
“We salute the 206 senior citizens who are included in this year’s bar examinees,” said Rep. Rodolfo “Ompong” Ordanes of the Senior Citizens Party-list.
“As long as the mind is sharp, seniors still have a fighting chance in the bar exams.” Ordanes emphasized the advantages that senior citizens bring to the table, stating, “Senior citizens have the advantage of wisdom and experience, all other factors being equal. They can use those advantages to deliver answers with depth and circumspection.”
Ordanes offered words of encouragement and practical advice to the senior examinees: “Do not forget your maintenance meds. Hydrate well. Get enough sleep. Surround yourself with people who truly love you. Go seniors! Godspeed!” This inspiring display of dedication and perseverance serves as a testament to the enduring spirit and intellectual capabilities of senior citizens in the Philippines.
