SENATE President Chiz Escudero has confirmed that all 215 signatures on the fourth impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte are legitimate.
During a press conference, Escudero stated that they have thoroughly examined the legitimacy of the signatures.
“Visually, we have verified that all 215 signatures are wet signatures. They were checked by at least four people, at least twice per person,” Escudero said.
“The initial review, using a visual perusal, confirmed that all 215 signatures are wet signatures,” he added.
Despite this, Escudero mentioned that they plan to purchase an application that utilizes artificial intelligence to further verify the authenticity of the signatures.
The Senate President emphasized that it is the Senate’s responsibility to verify and ensure that all 215 signatures were signed by the lawmakers.
