A VINTAGE bomb, believed to be American-made and dating back to World War II, was accidentally discovered on a road near Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 in Pasay City on Thursday, according to Balitanghali.
The bomb was unearthed by workers engaged in a road widening project along Manila International Airport Road. Following the discovery, the road widening operation was temporarily suspended.
Personnel from the Philippine National Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit (EOD) who responded to the scene confirmed that the bomb could still explode. The bomb will be transported to the PNP EOD Unit for analysis and proper disposal.
