THE Bureau of Immigration on Sunday said that three Malaysian nationals who claim to be members of Apollo Quiboloy’s religious group, the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, have been blacklisted and banned from entering the country.
The Bureau of Immigration said on Sunday that the foreigners arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 27.
“Jessica Lynn Henry, Mimielianna Annie Anak Leesoi, and Andrijosebaul Anak Garra, all in their mid-20s, reportedly arrived with a group of Filipinos presenting themselves KOJC members who later ‘abandoned’ them after they were referred for further immigration inspection,” the BI said in a statement.
BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said the Malaysians were denied entry after further inspection. He said they boarded a flight back to Malaysia on August 28.
“Our immigration officers discovered their intent to participate in anti-government demonstrations being staged by KOJC members who are protesting the ongoing manhunt for Pastor Quiboloy,” he said.
“Foreigners have no business interfering in the country’s internal political affairs, thus aliens who join these protest actions can be expelled for violating our immigration laws and for being undesirable aliens,” Tansingco emphasized.
