EXECUTIVE Secretary Lucas Bersamin confimed the suspension of government work in the National Capital Region on Monday due to inclement weather.
“Yes, effective 8:30 (a.m.),” Bersamin said in a text message.
Bersamin said the suspension of work for private companies and offices would be left to the discretion of their respective heads.
As of Monday morning, Tropical Cycolone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 was raised over nine areas due to Tropical Storm Enteng (international name: Yagi), state weather agency PAGASA said.
Metro Manila is among the areas under TCWS No. 2.
