Tingog solons named PH’s ‘top performing party-list reps’

admin May 19, 2024

Tingog Party-list lawmakers have emerged as the “top performing party-list representatives” in the Philippines, based on the recent survey by the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD).

Representatives Yedda Marie K. Romualdez and Jude A. Acidre achieved the highest rating of 90.3%  in the RPMD “Boses ng Masa” survey conducted from March 18 to 24.

Acidre expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying, “We are deeply honored and humbled by this acknowledgment, which underscores our unwavering commitment to serving the Filipino people with dedication and excellence.”

He attributed the group’s success to the collective efforts of all its officials and supporters, who tirelessly work towards advancing the interests and welfare of its constituents.

“This milestone serves as a testament to our relentless pursuit of genuine and effective representation,” Acidre said.

“Rest assured, Tingog Party-list will persist in championing the voices of those we represent and strive to make a positive impact on the lives of every Filipino,” he added.

According to RPMD, Romualdez and Acidre continued to set the benchmark for excellence with their impressive performance rating in its latest independent and non-commission survey.

“This outstanding achievement consistently places them at the top of the rankings, reinforcing their status as one of the most effective and influential party-list groups in the Philippines,” RPMD said in a statement.

“Their leadership and commitment, which have driven significant legislative progress and exemplified effective representation, serve as an inspiration to other Representatives, earning them widespread acclaim and recognition within the political landscape,” it added.

Four party-list groups shared second place in the rankings. BICOL SARO, represented by Rep. Brian Raymund Yamsuan, secured an impressive 87.8% rating. ANG PROBINSIYANO, represented by Rep. Alfred Delos Santos, attained an 87.6% rating. AKO BISAYA, with Rep. Sonny “SL” Lagon, earned an 87.3% performance rating, and AGIMAT, with Rep. Bryan Revilla, completed the list with an 87.1% score.

In the third position, ACT-CIS, represented by Reps. Erwin Tulfo, Jocelyn Tulfo, and Edvic Yap, earned an 86.5% performance score, jointly held with TGP of Jose “Bong” Teves Jr., who earned an 86.2% rating.

Following closely were AKO BICOL of Reps. Elizaldy Co and Jil Bongalon, with an 85.1% performance score, and ALONA, represented by Rep. Anna Marie Villaraza-Suarez, claimed the fourth spot with an 84.8% assessment score.

Sharing the fifth rank were 4Ps, represented by Reps. JC Abalos and Marcelino Libanan, at 83.6%, USWAG ILONGGO represented by Rep. James “Jojo” Ang at 83.2%, and MARINO represented by Rep. Sandro Gonzales with an 82.8% rating.

1RIDER, represented by Reps. Bonifacio Bosita and Rodge Gutierrez, secured the sixth spot with 80.4%, while KABATAAN represented by Rep. Raoul Danniel Manuel took the seventh spot with 78.6%.

SENIOR CITIZENS represented by Rep. Ompong Ordanes, with a 76.3% rating, took eighth place. COOP NATCCO, represented by Rep. Felimon Espares, followed closely in ninth place with a 74.8% rating.

Completing the top ten was AAMBIS-OWA represented by Rep. Lex Anthony Colada, with a 72.5% score.

The RPMD survey engaged a broad demographic of 10,000 adult participants randomly selected from an extensive database of 67.75 million registered voters.

The selection process ensured a representative sample, with regional counts proportionally aligned with official voter population statistics. With a margin of error of +/-1% and a confidence level of 95%, the survey findings offer reliable insights into the national sentiment regarding party-list representatives’ performance.
