A SUSPECTED drug dealer apprehended in an upscale Bel Air district will face charges at the Makati Prosecutor’s Office after being apprehended in an entrapment operation by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Rocky Borongosan was brought for inquest by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), accused of violating Article II, Sections 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The suspect was apprehended during an entrapment operation conducted by operatives from the NBI-Organized and Transnational Crimes Division (OTCD).
The arrest was prompted by information received by the NBI indicating that the suspect was involved in the illegal drug trade from his residence at Unit 3619, Tower D, Jazz Residences, Bel Air, Makati City.
Upon apprehension, plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu,” was seized from Borongosan.
The approximate weight of the substance was 488.1464 grams, with an estimated street market value of P3,000,000.00.
