THE Philippine National Police (PNP) is pleased to announce the recent grant of Service Recognition Incentives (SRI) to all its dedicated personnel, including both Uniformed and Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP).
This highly rewarding initiative, following the recent distribution of the Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI), aims to acknowledge and appreciate the commitment and hard work of our esteemed police force,” said PNP chief Police General Benjamin Acorda.
A total of 228,272 PNP personnel received the SRI at a uniform rate of P 12,500, exclusive of tax per implementation of Train Law, credited to their individual ATM accounts.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., through the Executive Secretary, has officially formalized this initiative by signing Administrative Order No. 12, Series of 2023. This order highlights the importance of recognizing and rewarding the exceptional contributions of all eligible workers in the Executive Department, including our valued members of the PNP.
Last year, the Service Recognition Incentive was a one-time reward for government employees under the Executive Department. The renewal of the SRI this year demonstrates the government’s commitment to appreciating and rewarding the invaluable efforts of its workforce, particularly those who have selflessly dedicated themselves to maintaining law and order within our beloved nation.
In response to the granting of this highly rewarding incentive, Chief PNP, Police General Benjamin C Acorda Jr, expressed his heartfelt gratitude and commended the unwavering dedication of all PNP personnel.
He stated, “This generous gesture from the government truly reflects the recognition of the immense hard work and sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform. The Service Recognition Incentive serves as a powerful morale booster, inspiring our personnel to continue their unwavering commitment to public service with renewed enthusiasm.”
The Chief PNP also extends his deepest appreciation to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for his continuous support and commitment to the welfare of our law enforcement personnel. “I extend my heartfelt appreciation to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for his continuous support and sincere acknowledgment of the PNP’s invaluable contributions to national security.”
