THE Office of Speaker Martin Romualdez and Tingog Partylist wasted no time in responding to the victims of the tragic explosion on December 3 at the Dimaporo Gymnasium in Mindanao State University, Marawi City.
At least four individuals were recorded dead, while 48 others were injured.
As soon as news broke, a Tingog Partylist contingent composed of Representatives Yedda Romualdez and Jude Acidre and their Cotabato team immediately mobilized to rush medical assistance and relief goods to blast victims recuperating at the Amai Pakpak Medical Center.
“We condemn this violent attack and our hearts break for those who lost loved ones as well as those recovering from injuries,” said Rep. Yedda Romualdez. “Let it be known that Tingog Partylist will always be the first to respond when our people are in need.”
The Tingog Partylist contingent also met with the local government unit headed by Mayor Gandamra, Gov. Adiong’s office, and Representative Zia Alonto’s office to coordinate additional humanitarian efforts for victims and their families. The partylist group vows to continue efforts to support their constituents during this difficult period.
