Cop arrested for touching beauty queen’s behind at NAIA

admin March 14, 2023

A POLICEMAN assigned at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 was arrested and jailed after allegedly touching the behind of a beauty title holder.

The cop first identified himself as Alvin Garcia but was later known as Police Patrolman Alvin Boñales, assigned at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.

He was charged for violation of Republic Act No. 11313 or the Safe Spaces Act, popularly known as the “Bawal Bastos Act.”

The complainant, 2018 Bb. Pilipinas International 1st Runner-Up Ma. Ahtisa Manalo, said she had just arrived at Terminal 3 on board Air Asia flight Z2 224 from Caticlan.

Manalo was allegedly grazed on her butt by unidentified PNP personnel at Bay 8 Arrival Curbside while waiting for her booked Grab car.

Manalo, a niece of Department of Interior and Local Government Undersecretary for Plans, Public Affairs and Communication Margarita Gutierrez, said she confronted the suspect regarding the matter but the he denied the allegation against him.

She said she asked for his name and he identified himself as “Alvin Garcia” then walked away.

Manalo sought the assistance of Airport Police Officer 1 Arvin Malabanan of the Airport Police Department and asked to review the CCTV.

After reviewing CCTV footage, PInsp. Garcia positively identified the suspect as Pat. Alvin Boñales. PMaj. Palma immediately summoned Boñales to report to his office,

The cop is now temporary detained at the nearby AvSeGroup-Mobile Patrol Security Unit station while awaiting inquest proceedings.
