A WOMAN and her male companion were shot dead by unidentified assailant in Lucena City, Quezon, police said.
Police report said the victims were found sprawled along Barangay 6 with multiple gunshot wounds in the body. Authorities identified the victims as John Carlo Leoparte and Charisse Daen.
Leoparte was found dead on the spot while Daen was declared dead on arrival in a hospital.
In a report, Daen already has previous drug cases pending in court. Police are still establishing if Leoparte was connected in illegal drug trade. Investigation is still on going.
