TWO persons were arrested for robbery extortion after an online seller sought the assistance of police in Pasay city.
Joint operation RID NCRPO, DSOU-SPD conducted an entrapment operation for Violation of Article 293 (Robbery Extortion) which resulted to the arrest of the suspects.
They were identified as Larry Marbid, alleged NBI agent, and Laurence Delos Tria 39, driver.
This stemmed from a complaint of a certain Ronalyn Tabaloc, an online seller that led to the police operation on Sunday, September 18.
During the apprehension of Marbid, his companion Delos Tria suddenly appeared and intervened in the said operation prompting the arrest of the second suspect.
Recovered pieces of evidence were bundles of money worth P274,000.
