THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Saturday will experience generally warm weather in most parts of the archipelago due to the weakened southwest monsoon or habagat.
“Malaking bahagi ng bansa ang magkakaroon ng mainit at maalinsangang panahon muli. Epekto ito ng mahinang habagat dito sa may West Philippine Sea,” Pagasa weather specialist Benison Estareja said.
He added that the ridge of high pressure area, extending over eastern parts of Central and Southern Luzon, similarly clears the skies and calms the weather in the country.
The state weather bureau, however, still warned of possible isolated rain showers in some areas, which may trigger flash floods and landslides.
No gale warning was raised over the country’s seaboards.
