A LOW pressure area (LPA) and cloud clusters forming outside and inside the Philippine area of responsibility has been monitoring by the
the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In an early Saturday morning report, Pagasa weather specialist Daniel James Villamil said the LPA located on the northeastern boundary of the PAR may not develop into a typhoon within the next few days and won’t have any direct effect on the country.
The cloud clusters detected inside PAR, meanwhile, were forecast to become an LPA in the coming days – but will also not affect the country, according to Villamil.
“Sa kasalukuyan may mino-monitor din tayong isa pang cloud cluster dito sa silangang bahagi ng Luzon sa loob naman ng ating PAR,” the Pagasa expert said.
