THE public should brace for hot days ahead as state weather forecasters on Wednesday announced the formal start of the dry season in the country.
A report by Super Radyo dzBB’s Manny Vargas quoted PAGASA as saying that the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan has been terminated and has given way to the dry season.
It also said rainfall in the country will be influenced mostly by easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Because of this, PAGASA advised the public to take precautionary measures against heat stress and to keep themselves properly.
Meanwhile, easterlies affecting the country. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
