AT 10:00PM today, the low pressure area was estimated based on all available data at 405 km east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.
This weather disturbance is less likely to develop into a Tropical Depression (TD) within the next 24 hours.
The LPA will bring moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Sugar del Sur.
Meanwhile, light to moderate with at times heavy rains will be experienced over Davao region, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Bicol Region, the rest of Caraga and Visayas.
Under these conditions, flooding and rain-induced landslides are possible, especially in areas that are highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards as identified in hazard maps and in areas with significant antecedent rainfall.
