MIGRANT Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac joined the celebration of the Carnival Cruise Line on its first-ever visit to the Philippines, with Carnival Panorama arriving at Eva Macapagal Super Terminal, Gate 1, Pier 15, South Harbor, Manila, earlier today, October 18, 2024.
There are 426 Filipino seafarers onboard who play a vital role in the operations and services of the cruise ship’s 25-day Transpacific Carnival Journeys cruise from Singapore to Long Beach, California.
The Secretary expressed his gratitude to Capt. Luca Lazzarino of Carnival Panorama and his crew for their commitment to safeguarding the well-being of Filipino seafarers onboard. He also commended the crew for fostering a harmonious relationship with the Filipino workers while ensuring the safety and comfort of all their passengers.
