A 48 year-old suspect wanted for kidnapping was arrested by police authorities in Cebu on Monday afternoon.
PNP Officer-in-Charge, Police Lieutenant General Vicente D Danao Jr announced the arrest of Allan Nacorda Gemongala Sr during manhunt operation at around 3:45 PM in Brgy. Canduman, Mandaue City, Cebu.
Gemongala, listed as No. 3 Most Wanted Person-Regional level was arrested by personnel of Police Station 4, Cebu City Police Office by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Manuel D Patalinghug, Presiding Judge, RTC7, Branch 22, Cebu City, Cebu issued on June 26, 2014 for the crime of Kidnapping docketed under Criminal Case No. CBU-104032 with no bail recommended.
“As the PNP successfully sustain the gains of our campaign against criminality, our police operatives on the ground will continue to expedite the arrest of these most wanted criminals who pose threat to security, peace and progress of our country,” PLTGen Danao said.
Gemongala is now under the custody of PS4, CCPO for documentation and proper disposition.
