A WOMAN was shot dead while her live-in partner was injured after being shot while sleeping inside their house in Dipolog City.
According to television report, last Thursday, the police said that the 45-year-old woman sustained gunshot wound in the in the back, while the 65-year-old man was shot in the chest.
Dipolog Police Station Chief Lieutenant Colonel Edwin Verzon said the victims’ house is located on the side of the road and has no door.
The police are looking into a personal dispute related to illegal drugs as a possible motive for the crime. The victims are also said to know the suspect, and the authorities are just waiting for the release of an arrest warrant to apprehend the perpetrator, who will face charges of murder and frustrated murder.
