SEVEN men were found stabbed to death inside a bakery in Barangay Cupang, Antipolo City, on Tuesday morning, April 22, at around 6:00 a.m., according to police reports.
The victims, all employees of the bakery located in Purok 1, Zone 8, were discovered dead at the scene.
Antipolo Police initially reported five victims, but Police Regional Office 4 (PRO 4) public information chief Lt. Col. Chitadel Goiran later confirmed the number to be seven. The police report states that the victims were asleep when an unidentified suspect or suspects entered the premises and stabbed them without apparent motive. All victims died immediately from their injuries.
Authorities are currently investigating the crime scene and reviewing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage to identify the perpetrators. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and the exact number of assailants involved has yet to be determined. A technical investigation is underway to gather forensic evidence and reconstruct the events leading up to the massacre.
