RESIDENTS and tourists were terrified to see a saltwater crocodile at Sinagpa Beach in Boracay. The Philippine Coast Guard responded immediately to catch the crocodile amid the bad weather.
The crocodile, according to residents, was probably the first time seen on the island. Reports said the crocodile may have possibly gotten lost since it was not a species native to Boracay.
The crocodile was turned over by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) shelter.
