MARIVELES, Bataan- Waterless residents of Sitio Eroad, barangay Alas asin can now heave a sigh of relief after Barangay captain Dante Malimban was able to get a positive response from no less than Administrator Emmanuel Pineda of the Freeport Area of Bataan(FAB).
“Maganda at Positibo po ang naging pag uusap,” (The outcome of our talks was good and positive), said Captain Malimban in his statement on his facebook right after his meeting with the FAB leadership Monday.
Malimban initiated the meeting with Pineda in his bid to provide his constituents a potable water who have long been longing to have a safe water to drink. Malimban said they discussed with the FAB administrator ways on how to do it (providing potable water) to start the connection of water supply in Eroad. A lot of people here stand to benefit once the water supply connection is installed.
“Sama sama po tayo para sa iisang layunin na maisaayos ang kalagayan ng bawat pamilya na magkaroon ng sapat na supply na tubig sa bawat tahanan,” added Malimban.
