MORE than P500 million worth of shabu were seized by joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-NCR Manila District Office, PDEA-Region III, and the Angeles City Police Office in a buy bust operation in in Timog Hills Townhouse, Barangay Pampang, Angeles City, on Sunday.
Police identified the arrested as Willy Tan Zhang, 51, who reportedly died in the hospital for unknown reasons.
The raiding team also invited Reziel Barelos Manalo, 30 years old, and a resident of Sitio 6, Muzon, San Juan, Batangas, for questioning. In another buy-bust operation in Angeles City, an undetermined amount of shabu was also seized along Poinsettia Avenue, Brgy. Pampang, Angeles City on Sunday morning.
Arrested were Chinese national Yi Xin Li, 49, and Mark June Barsaga, 23, of Dalahican St., Sta Teresa, Purok 7, Lucena, Quezon Province.
Seized were Chinese labeled tea bags, cellular phone, Toyota Avanza, identification cards and buy-bust money. Suspects will be charged with RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
