A PILOT and his student aboard a Cessna aircraft survived a crash-landing in Malolos, Bulacan on Saturday afternoon, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines reported.
Authorities identified the survivors as a pilot and his student.
CAAP said the C152 type aircraft operated by Fliteline Aviation was flying from Plaridel to Subic and back when its engine started failing.
The plane was forced to make an emergency landing on a ricefield.
The Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board has been dispatched to the area for investigation.
