San Fernando City, La Union – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 1 together with PDEA Ilocos Sur and the Ilocos Sur police has destroyed marijuana plants worth ₱2.2 million pesos along the boundary of Sitio Nagawa of Barangay Caoayan, Sugpon in Ilocos Sur and Sitio Culliang of Barangay Tacadang, Kibungan in Benguet.
The two-day eradication operation held along the boundary of the Ilocos Region and the Cordillera Administrative Region was held from July 13 to 14, 2022.
According to PDEA Region 1, they will continue their search and destroy operations until all illegal plants and substances are eradicated in the region.
