Naga City, Philippines – A P200,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder of Dr. Rajean Monette Romualdez, an obstetrician-gynecologist found dead in her car on Sunday afternoon.
Dr. Romualdez, 36, was discovered inside her vehicle parked in Monterey Village, Barangay Concepcion Pequeña, with a gunshot wound to the head. Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion confirmed the death and announced the reward on Monday via a Facebook post.

Responding to the scene were personnel from Naga City Police Office Station 2 and EMTs from the CDRRMO. Initial police investigations indicate that the suspect was seen with Dr. Romualdez before the crime. Her body was found bloodied in the passenger seat.
Mayor Legacion has pledged a thorough investigation, with the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) assisting in uncovering the facts. He urged anyone with information to contact any police station or his office directly, assuring confidentiality. The mayor emphasized the city’s commitment to bringing justice to Dr. Romualdez and her family.
