AN online seller and a part-time female model were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Francisco in Binan, Laguna on Tuesday, September 24.
The suspects were apprehended by the combined forces of the Philippine Drugs Enforcement Agency Laguna and the Philippine National Police, where ecstasy amounting to around P1.7 million was seized.
The suspects were identified as Mark Marvin Piathong ,alias Claridad, 28 years old, a male online seller residing in Bacoor City, Cavite; and Dhaesyrie Dumale, 20 years old, a part-time model from B Camarin, Caloocan City.
According to the initial report, the two were caught when the Binan City PNP undercover buyer made a transaction with them. Both suspects, who are considered high-value drug personalities, were arrested.
The suspects were found in possession of 1,014 pieces of ecstasy tablets weighing approximately 400 grams, and the money used in the buy-bust operation was also confiscated.
