FOUR people died early Friday when a passenger bus crashed into a ravine in Del Gallego, Camarines Sur.
The bus, which was traveling from Quezon City to Sorsogon with 25 passengers and two drivers, crashed in Barangay Magais 1 around 2 a.m.
Police say the bus fell 26 to 30 meters into the ravine, but trees helped prevent further damage. Rescue operations are ongoing to retrieve two bodies still trapped inside.
Injured passengers are receiving treatment at Tagkawayan General Hospital in Tagkawayan, Quezon, and some have already been discharged.
