A FEMALE teacher was arrested by authorities in a buy-bust operation in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. According to a report on Monday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Zamboanga (PDEA-9) disclosed that the arrested teacher is 59 years old.
Suspected sachets of shabu, estimated to be worth P1 million, were seized from the suspect.
Authorities have been monitoring the teacher for a long time, considering her a “high-value individual” in the illegal drug trade. Authorities are now investigating if the teacher has been selling illegal drugs to students.
