THE Province of Dinagat Islands in Region 13 or the Caraga Administrative Region (Caraga) is among the hardest hit areas by Typhoon ‘Odette’ (international name: Rai) that left a trail of massive devastation in regions across Visayas and Mindanao, and claimed a number of lives.
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is set to visit his ‘kababayans’ in the Province to check on their situation and lead the distribution of relief assistance together with the concerned government agencies.
The Chief Executive declared Caraga under a ‘State of Calamity’ to fast track the emergency response in the region.
