THE Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of Bontoc Province has advised motorists not to pass through the tunnel at Sitio Iyo, Barangay Bontoc due to the low ceiling of the cave.
A DSWD forwarder truck transporting relief good was stuck in the tunnel today, August 2, 2022, at 11:30 A.M. Rescue personnel was currently working to free the vehicle in its present state.
After less than an hour the forward truck transporting DSWD relief goods that was stuck at the tunnel in Sitio Iyo, Barangay Bontoc Ili was able to pass through at 11:47 A.M. today, August 2, 2022.
“We thank everyone for your prompt response and assistance,” said the MDRRMO.
