IN a bid to bring cheer to residents of San Jose Del Monte City in Bulacan, the city government has launched Tuesday, the Christmas Parade featuring Disney inspired characters.
Now on its second year, the Christmas parade, which is spearheaded by SJDM Rep. Florida ‘Rida’ Robes, was launched at the Savano Park in the city with several floats carrying Disney inspired characters.
Street dancers also accompanied the floats as they went around major thoroughfares, much to the delight of residents and onlookers.
Robes said the parade will go around all the major roads in the city of San Jose Del Monte all throughout the month to bring joy and laughter to the people, especially the children, this Christmas season.
“Christmas is for the children and it is the aim of this parade to bring cheer to the people especially the young and young at heart as we celebrate the Christmas season. We want to have a fun-filled and merry Christmas for every San Joseño,” Robes said.
