POLICE report said a baby is missing while 43 passengers onboard a motorized banca after it sank off the coast of Zamboanga City, Saturday evening.
The banca was en route to Lanawan Island in Tabuan Lasa, Basilan when the incident occurred at 6:40 p.m. Saturday.
All of the passengers were accounted for except for a six-month old baby who fell from its mothers arms while the boat was sinking.
The survivors were brought to Zamboanga City. Investigators are looking at the possibility that the boat was overloaded which might have caused the mishap.
