SEVEN people have been reported dead in the Province of Rizal while one person is being sought due to the continuous onslaught of Typhoon ‘Enteng’.
In the said count, six were reported dead in different barangays in Antipolo City.
First is the collapsed part of Sitio Hinapao, Barangay San Jose, where several houses were buried under the soil, and two brothers were reported dead, including a pregnant neighbor.
Two more were reported dead in Barangay San Luis and one in Barangay San Isidro due to drowning, while one person is being sought in Barangay Sta. Cruz, swept away by the flood.
In an interview, Rizal Police Provincial Director, PCol. Felipe B. Maraggun, mentioned that a man also drowned in San Mateo.
According to PCol. Maraggun, the boundary of Cainta and Marikina on Sumulong Highway is also impassable.
