FOUR police officers and four others face criminal complaints in connection with the kidnapping of a resort caretaker in Los Baños, Laguna.
The officers, who reportedly belong to the intelligence unit of the Calamba police, were charged with kidnapping before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office on Thursday.
The respondents were identified by eyewitneses and relatives of the victim, Randy Magbanua, 54, of Barangay Malinta.
The special investigation task group (SITG) on missing persons identified two of the officers as alias Burda and alias Naredo.
Investigation by the SITG and Los Baños police showed eight suspects were involved in the kidnapping of Magbanua on March 26.
